Fees
My fee for a 50-minute hour is based on the usual and customary rates for psychologists in this area. Unless we make other specific arrangements, payment by check, cash or credit card is due at the beginning or end of each session. During our initial meeting, we will jointly agree on the fee and payment schedule. I am committed to making therapy affordable and accessible to everyone. Please do not hesitate to contact me to discuss psychotherapy fees.

If your financial resources are limited and you have difficulty making payments at the time of the sessions, a payment plan may be arranged to spread the cost of your treatment over a period longer than the course of treatment. I offer sliding scale fees based on income. Please contact me for more information.

Cancellation Policy
Please be aware that if you do not show up for your scheduled appointment, and have failed to notify our office at least 48 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session.

Payments by credit card can be made online through the secure PayPal service (There is an additional 4% fee for processing). This needs to be paid prior to our sessions. Payments can be made to the email address drshirink@ymail.com directly from the Paypal site.
